Unlike most LitRPGs I’ve read, you don’t get to choose your class in this one, it comes auto-assigned. Much like other LitRPGs there are various classes, and you level up by doing class related tasks and quests. He gets sucked into a different version of earth that comes with a built-in leveling system. Something about a resurrection gone wrong, multidimensional universe… quite honestly I really don’t remember the mechanics of it as it doesn’t really bear any further importance to the story. The MC, Arnold, was just going about his normal life when he gets accidentally murdered by a multidimensional being. There are time where I buy an audiobook solely based off who narrates it - just the audiophile in me 😀 The sense of humor, if it lands with you, will have you chuckling throughout.I picked this up because it was on sale and narrated by Travis Baldree. Beyond the action, there’s good character development, town building, lots of RPG exploitation, and some good world building mid story that develops some series villains. Only the system is stacked against him and he has to figure out every exploit to gain the XP he needs which spirals into some truly fun and funky adventures with an emphasis on a kind of trap filled farmer dungeon being used to lure in increasingly powerful monsters. His goal, to reach level 100 hundred in the class so that he can take a 2nd class that feeds what he thinks a reincarnation should be. This is a great reincarnated to an RPG fantasy world story where the main character (MC) has the farmer class foisted upon him.
